Cedi

Cedi is a Senior Software Engineer and Technical Lead from Germany, specializing in resiliency engineering at scale With a passion for distributed systems, SRE, and observability, Cedi focuses on building adaptable systems that can withstand failures while maintaining performance.

Outside his professional pursuits, Cedi has been involved with the Chaos Computer Club, leading the Network Team at GPN in the past as well as contributing to the Chaos Communication Congress in various capacities. During the pandemic, he helped spin up various online services such as jitsi.rocks, open-infrastructure, and the Kubernetes Infrastructure powering rC3 - NOW HERE.

Cedi enjoys experimenting with Kubernetes, Linux, Raspberry Pis, and cloud-native technologies. In his spare time, he is an avid photographer with a collection of analog cameras, as well as actively training and competing in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Aufbauend auf meinem talk von letztem Jahr werden wir in diesem Talk ein bisschen tiefer in die Kubernetes Materie einsteigen und darüber reden wie man denn jetzt überhaupt mal irgendetwas in sein Kubernetes Cluster rein deployed. Wir werden auch versuchen das ganze halbwegs sinnvoll zu tun ohne alle seine Secrets oder Passwörter im Klartext in Git zu haben, oder die YAML config unnötig zu duplizieren.
