 ng some arcane protocol. Hardware assisted tracing allows capturing this i
 nformation and analyzing it offline\, without halting or blocking the core
 .\n\nThe "Efficient Trace for RISC-V" ([E-Trace][etrace]) allows tracing p
 rograms on RISC-V hardware equipped with a compatible trace encoder. This 
 workshop introduces general concepts and the infrastructure involved in tr
 aces\, including open source tooling. You have the opportunity to work on
